Amal Wijayanayake

ACE (Amal Wijayanayake) is a seasoned musician, multi-instrumentalist, and the visionary founder of AMALIEN RECORDS INC, which operates with global distribution through Virgin Music Group. With over three decades of experience in the music industry, Amal has cultivated a career spanning artist development, international touring, and record label leadership. His passion for music and business acumen have positioned AMALIEN RECORDS as a platform dedicated to transparency and empowering artists to take control of their careers. As a performer, Amal has built an impressive résumé on the road and in the studio. From 2014 to 2017, he served as the bassist for The Veer Union, touring over 300 cities annually across the United States. He is now the bassist for BLACK LYSTED, performing alongside Rod Black, formerly of Jet Black Stare, a band that was signed to Island Def Jam Recordings in 2007. Amal’s ability to merge musicianship, touring expertise, and label leadership makes him a driving force in today’s rock landscape, uniting artistry with a global business vision.
