Caleb Chan

With an aptitude for creating music that resonates with diverse audiences, Caleb’s body of work spans independent projects, short films, television series, and theatrical features. Scoring alongside his brother Brian, his credits include North of North (Netflix/CBC), Alert: Missing Persons Unit (FOX), Fairly OddParents: A New Wish (Nickelodeon), Allegiance (CBC), Panhandle (Sony), LEGO DreamZzzz, DreamWorks’ Pinecone & Pony (Apple TV), Angry Birds: Summer Madness (Netflix), and Sam Raimi’s horror anthology 50 States of Fright. A prolific arranger and producer, Caleb has orchestrated and produced nearly 250 songs, including string arrangements for Beyoncé and SZA tracks featured in the critically acclaimed miniseries Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. As a long-time collaborator on the My Little Pony franchise, his score and song productions are featured in My Little Pony: The Movie (Emily Blunt, Zoe Saldaña). Caleb is a four-time Leo Award winner, and the Canadian Screen Music Awards winner, and has received multiple nominations from the Canadian Screen Awards. In 2024, he was honoured with SOCAN’s Breakout Composer of the Year Award. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Screen Composers Guild of Canada and has previously served as a director with the Vancouver Post Alliance. He holds a master’s degree in composition from the University of Toronto.
